In a bulletin released by the Ohio Department of Insurance they urge drivers to be alert for deer while driving on roadways.  This is the time of the year that insurance companies see an increase in vehicles vs deer accidents.  You should check with your agent to make sure you have coverage to repair your vehicle in case of an accident with a deer.  Collision coverage DOES NOT cover deer related accidents.  The other than collision coverage is what pays to have your vehicle repaired.  Should you only carry liability coverage on your vehicle then any damage done would not pay to repair your vehicle.
