National Teen Driving Safety week is October 18-24, 2015.  The Ohio Dept. of Insurance is promoting the "5 to Drive."  The 5 to Drive rules are:  1. No Drinking & Driving, 2.  Buckle Up. Every trip. Every Time. Front Seat & Back Seat, 3.  Put It Down.  One text or call could wreck it all, 4.  Stop Speeding before it Stops You and 5.  No More Than One Passenger at a Time.  Teen drivers need to follow these rules and any other restrictions as outlined in Ohio's graduated driver licensing law (http://bmv.ohio.gov/graduated_dl_teen_laws.stm).

Parents also need to be sure they have adequate insurance protection for the teen driver.  Contact your insurance agent to  review your auto insurance coverage's.
